Aloha from Kaua'i
We are wrapping up our trip with an evening in and a movie. Here is some additional photos from our helicopter tour of Wiamea Canyon and snorkeling at Anini beach where we saw a few sea turtles and swam with them.
Tubing was fun. We were on an irrigation ditch dug by hand in the 1860s and we tubed through five tunnels. The trip was cold and fun. We had some unexxpected cancelations, but we were able to use our time to see the sights. We even did some four-wheeling to a secluded beach which was well worth the drive.
Look forward to seeing everyone in a couple days.

Aloha!

Claire and I are having a great time. I am posting pictures of our surf lessons with Duke. This was a great outing and we were able to have private lessons. Cliare is quite the surfer girl and seems to have a knack for this. Me on the other hand, did make a showing and rode one wave in for a while. Today we learned that your ribcage is sore after a morning of surfing.
We walked up Diamond Head for a total round trip of 1.6 miles and 566 steps. We at on Wakiki beach and went out to the Arizona Memorial. It is facinating that now surviving crew members are being intered on the Arizona upon their death and request.
Our boating outing was cancelled today so we weny to the Eastern side and hung out on the beach until it was time for our Snuba lesson. I never got good with pressurizing my ears, bu we touched a stingray and fed some of the fish. It was fun. We neded the day with massages and now we are relaxing and enjoying our loose muscles.
Tomorrow we are off to Kauai. We'll keep you posted.
